Cop shot by colleague
A rookie policeman is now in critical condition after he was shot in Quezon City after midnight yesterday by a colleague who was reportedly under the influence of drugs. Victim PO1 Oliver Cansio, 32, assigned to the Central Police District-Station 11, suffered bullet wounds in the body and legs and is currently receiving medical treatment at the Chinese General Hospital. The suspect, PO1 Giovanni Tabirao, 25, a member of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), is now under police custody. He is awaiting proper charges to be filed against him.
