Cabbie killed

A taxi driver was robbed and stabbed to death, but not before wounding his assailant in Quezon City the other day.
Victim Eugenio Paniza, 42, a resident of Block 24, Lot 10, Barangay Citrus, Minuyan, Bulacan, suffered a stab wound in the body and died while receiving medical treatment at the Far Eastern University Hospital.
The suspect, Adriano Capoquian, a resident of Esperanza St., Lagro Hilltop, also sustained a stab wound and is currently confined at the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center.
Authorities said the incident took place at about 2 a.m. along Sta. Cruzan street, Lagro Subdivision. Matthew Estabillo
