The victim was identified as Marilyn Nebrida, 36, a resident of Benhur Site, a squatters area along the railroad tracks in Western Bicutan, Taguig.
Investigation conducted by the Taguig Traffic Enforcement Unit revealed that the incident took place at around 9 a.m. yesterday.
The victim, who was standing on the railroad tracks for no apparent reason, was caught in between the two trains approaching her on opposite tracks a Divisoria, Manila-bound train of the Philippine National Railways with body number 5008 and another on the northbound tracks.
Nebridas head was decapitated along with her arm as one of the trains dragged her body several meters from the point of impact.
The police are still investigating the case to determine whether it was an accident or a suicide attempt, considering the trains in the country are not really known for their speed.
Meanwhile, a man was killed after being hit a car along the C-5 Road in Taguig yesterday morning.
The Taguig Traffic Enforcement Unit identified the victim as Rene Bechera. There were no other details about the victim.
Bechera was crossing the southbound lane of the C-5 Road when a Toyota Lite Ace van with plate number PSJ 585 accidentally hit him.
The driver of the vehicle identified as Vito Sevillano, 36, a resident of Palar Village, Makati City, immediately brought the victim to the Ospital ng Makati, where he was declared dead on arrival.
