In adherence to President Arroyos order to empty the country of colorum buses and other types of colorum vehicles, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) led by Gen. Nestorio Gualberto has deputized five Muntinlupa personnel to help the LTO rid the city of colorum buses.
Mayor Jaime Fresnedi said that with this development, they will now be able to put more teeth in their intensified drive against colorum and out-of-line vehicles particularly passenger buses.
The five city hall men who got deputized were Alexander Moldez, traffic environment and discipline head, Rolando Navaro Jr. of the Public Order and Safety Office and Mayors Squad, PO2 Josef Vargas, PO1 Rodelo Pulhin and PO1 Robert Valderama. Moldez said they are currently waiting for LTOs deputation order to be able to fully operate against the colorum units.
