Local government officials have expressed full support for the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) "Task Force Tulungan," an integration of the Huli Agad program and Pulis Mabilis project, aimed at waging an all-out war against street crimes in the metropolis.
Several huli agad cops, motorcycle-mounted police officers, have been fielded to the different cities and municipalities in Metro Manila to augment police visibility patrols and to further intensify the campaign against street crimes in Metro Manila based on the directive of President Arroyo and Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Hermogenes Ebdane Jr.
The local chief executives, particularly Quezon City Mayor Feliciano Belmonte Jr., lauded the move of the PNP through the NCRPO of launching an endeavor to further intensify the anti-criminality campaign in the metropolis.
Belmonte, who was among the guests of honor during the formal launching of "TF Tulungan" the other day at the Central Police District Office (CPDO) headquarters in Camp Karingal, expressed pride for his citys being chosen to be the pilot area for the project. Non Alquitran
