Local food firm Nutri-Licious Foods Corp. (NFC) assured the public yesterday of the safety of its products after one of its warehouse in Pateros was gutted by a fire last Monday.
NFC president Rogelio Nemeño said that the fire damaged only the warehouse located 84 meters from their plant and office. The incident did not affect the companys operations.
NFC supplies juices to leading hospitals, restaurants and airline companies, apart from retail establishments like supermarkets and groceries in the country. It has also been exporting juices and purees in various parts of the world.
Nemeño said the company is now reviewing its fire prevention program for further improvement to ensure the incident would not happen again. "Its business as usual for Nutri-Licious."
"We are fortunate that there was no damage to our products and our manufacturing facilities. We will continue to ensure quality products at all times," he said.
