Termed as "roads to progress," Fresnedi’s plans include pro-poor programs and projects for the people. The mayor said Alabang is the most highly populated area in the city and so far the most visited by businessmen.
"It is just timely to beautify the place, which will be turned into a greener Alabang. Lots of lights and improved traffic systems will be installed in the area to make a more business-friendly environment," he said.
Thousands of sidewalk vendors have been relocated by the city authorities to the New Alabang Public Market, where they can properly sell their wares and not pose as obstructions to motorists.
Fresnedi said another road to progress would be the opening of the City Alternate Route Entry-Exit System (CARES) which will interconnect the existing road network in subdivisions starting from Victoria Homes all the way to Pleasant Village exiting to Filinvest.
The "friendly route" is part of the mayor’s program to ease vehicular traffic on major thoroughfares in the city.
