The story, which was based on police reports, stated that Kingfeet Trading, owned by a certain Deng Xao Li, operated the warehouse at 1060 North Bay Boulevard South.
King Feet Trading pointed out it did not own the warehouse and "had just leased Unit C on the second floor from Golden Harvest Agro-Products Corp."
The firm, a duly registered joint partnership venture of Julius Manalo and Alfredo Ting, denied that it was owned by Deng. Theydenied knowing Deng, saying their partnership did not have any transaction with the latter.
The Navotas warehouse was raided last week after it was linked to a shabu laboratory discovered inside a Valenzuela warehouse which was gutted by fire. Both warehouses were being rented by a certain Wang Yashi, who is now the subject of a police manhunt.
Meanwhile, a P1 million reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of Wang. The reward was announced by Interior and Local Government Secretary Jose Lina Jr. upon the recommendation of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency director general Undersecretary Anselmo Avenido Jr.
