Police are now hunting a still unidentified man after he strangled to death a 39-year-old housewife the other day inside her house in San Antonio, Quezon City.
Victim Eva Aguroy, a resident of 1-A Clumadel Street, Barangay San Antonio, died while receiving treatment at the Quezon City General Hospital.
Police said Aguroy was found by her husband Jose lying near the toilet inside their house at about 5 p.m.
Jose told policemen that he found his wife lying on the floor barely breathing. He saw marks on her neck, which authorities theorized that might have been caused by a thin wire.
She was rushed to the hospital where she expired at about 10:30 p.m. Central Police District operatives have ruled out robbery in the incident. Follow-up investigations are now being conducted. Matthew Estabillo
