-
A maid was stabbed to death by a group of thieves at a home in an exclusive subdivision in Parañaque City yesterday.

Mediel Encarnacion, 18, a native of Dumaguete City, was killed instantly after sustaining seven stab wounds all over her body.

SPO3 Odeo Carino of the Parañaque police Criminal Investigation Division, said the incident took place at around 6 a.m. at 34 Andrew Street, Multinational Village, Barangay Moonwalk, Parañaque City.

A still undetermined number of men entered the house, owned by a Korean identified only as Philip, and found the victim alone.

The suspects went through the entire house and carted off with a still undetermined amount of cash and jewelry.

Before leaving the scene, the suspects stabbed Encarnacion until she was dead.

A follow-up team from the Parañaque police is now searching for clues to determine the identities of the suspects. – Marvin Sy
