The victims were identified as a Irenita Agito and her househelp, Natividad Centino, 57.
In a phone interview, Superintendent Armando Pineda, Las Piñas police chief, said the bodies were discovered inside the toilet of the dirty kitchen of the house located at 60 Jasmin Street, Vergonville Subdivision, Pulanglupa Dos.
The two were hog-tied and maggots were already eating at their bodies when they were discovered. Authorities said they are looking for the Agitos driver to shed light on the case.
An initial investigation revealed that a few days ago, neighbors of the victim saw the driver known only as "Dodong" or "Butchocoy" leaving the house in a hurry with a troubled look.
The driver allegedly took Agitos silver gray Mitsubishi Galant. He has not been seen at the house since then.
Police said Agito and her husband lived with the house helper and driver.
Agitos husband is a ship captain who left the country about a month ago.
Pineda said the Southern Police District Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) team is still determining how the victims were killed.
Pineda said the cause of death could not be easily determined since the two bodies were already bloated and in an advanced state of decomposition.
He estimated that the crime happened about five days ago.
Police are conducting a follow-up investigation of the incident.
