Boy killed by speeding van at Kamuning flyover

A boy was killed shortly after midnight yesterday when he was hit by a speeding van in Quezon City.

The Central Police District (CPD) said the hit-and-run incident took place at 12:30 a.m. at the foot of the EDSA-Kamuning flyover. Initial investigation showed that the still unidentified boy was crossing EDSA when he was hit by a blue Toyota Revo.

The victim, around six to 10 years old, dark complexioned and wearing an oversized striped shirt, was killed instantly. Investigators said the boy could be one of the streetchildren in the area. – Katherine Adraneda
