Man shot over unpaid debt

Police are hunting a group of still unidentified men after they shot dead the other night a 35-year-old man right in front of his home in Batasan Hills, Quezon City.
Victim Razul Abdulah, of 155 Kasunduan Extension, Barangay Batasan Hills, sustained bullet wounds in different parts of the body and died on the spot. The gunmen were armed with caliber .45 firearms and fled right after the shooting.
Operatives of the Central Police District have yet to establish the motive of the killers, but sources said that Abdulah might have failed to settle a debt with the still unidentified suspects.
Initial reports showed that the incident occurred at about 7:30 p.m. just outside the victims residence at Kasunduan Extension. Abdulah was apparently standing in front of his gate when a group of men suddenly appeared.
Without warning, the gunmen pulled out their firearms and shot Abdulah several times, hitting him in the chest and abdomen. He died instantly and the killers immediately escaped. Matthew Estabillo
