The tricycle was traveling on IBP Road when it was hit by a six-wheeler truck (TAM-349), driven by Jose Garcia, 41.
Traffic enforcers Al Corsanes said that the truck, which came from Payatas, lost its brakes, lost control and hit the tricycle, a Toyota Revo (SEN-500), and a delivery truck headed toward Commonwealth Avenue.
Garcia was arrested and is now behind bars at the CPD-TEU Sector 5. Charges of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple physical injuries with homicide and damage to property will be filed against him with the Quezon City Prosecutors Office.
