Government cars not exempt from tests

-
The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) said yesterday government vehicles are not exempted from the smoke emission-testing program.

"Even government vehicles emit hazardous smoke so they cannot be exempted from the program. To show that we are sincere in implementing this, all DOTC vehicles are being checked for smoke emission," Transport Undersecretary Arturo Valdez said.
