Water cutoff in Tondo

Parts of Tondo will experience a 20-hour water service interruption from 12:01 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, Maynilad Water Services Inc. said yesterday.

Maynilad Water said the water cutoff will give way for the repair of a leaking 400mm service pipe at Juan Luna Street corner Honorio Lopez Street in Tondo, Manila.

Affected will be the following: the entire Balut area, the area bounded by H. Lopez, Sunog Apog, Pampanga and J. Luna Streets; and the area bounded by Solis, PNR, Ma. Guizon and J. Luna Streets.

Affected residents are advised to store water good for the duration of the water service interruption. They may also call the Maynilad Water Hotline 1626 for the water-rationing schedule.
