Pyramid charges pile up

The filing of criminal charges against a businessman and his sister who are allegedly behind a multi-million peso pyramiding scam have continued without let-up at the Quezon City Prosecutors Office.
At least 56 new complainants, mostly members of the Presidential Security Group (PSG), filed charges of estafa yesterday against Ferdinand Sison, owner and manager of Exsior Enterprises.
Sisons victims have come out following the arrest of his sister, Emilia, last month. She is set to be arraigned today at the sala of Quezon City Judge Hilario Laqui on five counts of syndicated estafa. Pia Lee-Brago
