Two notorious thieves responsible for a series of recent attacks on motorcycle-riding victims were arrested the other night by the Caloocan City police.
Superintendent Dionicio Borromeo, Station Intelligence and Investigation Division (SIID) chief, identified the suspects as Billy Joe Belita, 30, single and Gilbert Arnaiz alias "Kulot," 24, jobless, both of 211 Estaimada Int., Salmon street, Kaunlaran Village, Dagat-Dagatan, Caloocan City.
Police record showed the suspects were collared at around 10:55 p.m. at the Samatad Compound on Tanique Street, Kaunlaran Village allegedly while waiting for their next prey.
It was gathered that the two have long been in the police order of battle for a series of heists perpetrated in the area.
Police said they were on routine patrol when they chanced upon the suspects in a dim portion of the street and arrested them.
The suspects have been detained pending the filing of appropriate charges. Jerry Botial
