A confidential agent of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), who is said to be a close friend of Video Regulatory Board (VRB) chairman Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. was found dead over the weekend in Marikina City.
The victim, Vincent Fulgar, 51, who allegedly took part in Revillas recent successfull raids against pirated CDs andVCDs in Quiapo, Manila and other parts of Metro Manila, sustained hack wounds in the head.
Fulgar was already dead when his body was discovered along Daang Kalabaw, Tumana, Barangay Concepcion Uno last Saturday.
Police believed that Fulgar was abducted by armed men in front of his house at 22 Chantilly Villas, Busilon St., Mandaluyong City early Saturday morning.
A security guard of an establishment located in front of his house found drops of blood along the pathway. The security guard reported the incident to the Mandaluyong City police.
Fulgar was identified through an identification card found on his pants pocket. But the police have yet to establish whether his death was related to Revillas anti-piracy drive.
Police investigators strongly believed that the killing of Fulgar was well-planned. However, they refused to elaborate. Non Alquitran
