Frank Sinatras song "My Way" has claimed another mans life after a videoke bar habitué, who didnt like his singing, shot him at pointblank range Thursday night in Caloocan City.
Declared dead on arrival at the East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City was Sergio Villanueva, 44 of San Antonio St., Area-B, Camarin, Caloocan City. He sustained two gunshot wounds in the body.
A manhunt is now being conducted by police authorities for the gunman, known only as a certain "Nonoy." The assailant, , apparently fed up with the assault of discordant notes assailing his ears, approached the unwary man singing to his hearts content, and pumped three bullets from a handgun, two of which hit the mark at close range.
As the victim slumped dying, the suspect and his three companions escaped while the victim was taken to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival. Jerry Botial
