2 men killed, dumped in QC

Police are after a group of unidentified men after they shot and stabbed dead yesterday morning two men and dumped their bodies in front of a school in Lagro, Quezon City.
Victims Henry Garcia, 46, of Block 69, Lot 42, Mabuhay Homes, in Dasmarinas, Cavite, and a certain "Edwin," aged 35 to 40 years old, were found dead on the spot; both sustained fatal stab and bullet wounds in the body.
The killers, police said, might have been robbers armed with bladed weapons and handguns, but other sources said that they could have been people who had an old grudge against the victims.
Investigators said they are puzzled, and that this case could even be a kidnap-for-ransom incident.
The bodies of the victims were found by a certain Roderick Avila at about 6 a.m. along Mindanao Extension, in front of Saint Anthony Elementary School in Lagro. The victims were lying on their backs and both had multiple gunshot wounds and laceration in the head and different parts of the body.
Operatives of the Central Police District are conducting follow-up operations.
Meanwhile, a 24 year-old man drowned during the heavy downpour the other day in Quezon City.
The lifeless body of Eric Picardal, of Kapiligan Street, Barangay Imelda, was found floating along Dario Creek near his home. Matthew Estabilo
