British national robbed, killed

A British executive was robbed and killed by three armed men inside his rented apartment yesterday morning in Makati City.

The police identified the victim as Steven Davis, 32, married, director of Jadecool Internet Management and a resident of 5859 Fermina St., Barangay Olympia, Makati City.

Investigation revealed that the incident took place at around 2:15 a.m. in the apartment Davis shared with his colleague, Canadian Michael Thomas Dunn.

It was revealed that three armed men entered the apartment and poked their guns at Dunn and his girlfriend, 25-year-old Jennifer Castillo, an overseas Filipno worker.

The three suspects asked for the keys to the car of Dunn which was parked in the basement garage of the apartment.

Unable to find the key, the suspects took the wallet and mobile phones of Dunn and Castillo and moved on to the next room where Davis was sleeping. A few moments after the suspects entered the room, Dunn and Castillo claimed that they heard several gunshots after which all three men fled. – Marvin Sy
