Has a church in Quezon City become a favorite dumping ground for unwanted fetuses these days?
In just a couple of days, a second fetus was found in a plastic shopping bag at the St. Joseph Church in Project 3. Investigation revealed that a male person, according to witness Nenita de Lina, a sampaguita vendor, left the male fetus around 6 a.m. yesterday in front of the church.
SPO1 Jaime Baylon said that the fetus was in a plastic jar inside a plastic shopping bag when found beside the left pillar of the church on the Aurora Boulevard side.
On Monday night, a certain Gina Golorio discovered another fetus in a bench inside the same church. Police records showed that the six-month-old fetus, contained in a plastic bag, was brought to the St. Joseph Church by Polinta Gertrude, of Parang Marikina City, allegedly upon the request of a friend that the fetus be baptized first before being buried.
