Police identified the victim as Rosemarie Sarsia, 39, of Alaska Street, Barangay Signal Village, Taguig.
Sarsia suffered seven stab wounds in the chest and abdomen. She was taken to the Rizal Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival by physicians.
Investigation showed that a female neighbor heard a commotion inside Sarsias house. The neighbor said she saw three unidentified young men attacking Sarsia. One of the assailants stabbed the victim, the witness said.
The assailants managed to flee before the neighbors husband reached the crime scene, police added.
Responding policemen found Sarsia bleeding in her bedroom; and a cabinet, where the money could have been kept, destroyed.
Investigators also recovered a bloody kitchen knife in the victims house.
Meanwhile, a15-year-old girl was reportedly abducted by her spurned older suitor Thursday morning in Parañaque City.
Police identified the victim as Leandra Hemor of Villonco Road, BF Homes, Parañaque. Case investigator PO2 Anthony Alising said that Hemors suitor, Augusto Pera Jr., 27, of Anabu 1C, Imus, Cavite snatched the girl at around 11 a.m. along Villonco Street.
The victim was on board a tricycle with her aunt, Salvenia Morallos, 37, and younger sister when the suspect blocked their way with his jeep (VAC 642), about 500 meters from their house.
Alising said Pera has been courting the teenager for over a year.
