Man jailed for calling she ‘bakla’

-
Hecklers, beware!

A 42-year-old man found himself locked in jail after he allegedly heckled a woman and called her ‘bakla’ in a Pasay City bar yesterday morning.

The police identified the suspect as Mario Abloza, of 419 Concha St., Tondo, Manila. Abloza faces an unjust vexation charge in the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office following a complaint filed by Janice David.

Senior Police Officer 2 Alberto Conlu of the Pasay City police Criminal Investigation Division (CID), said the incident happened at around 3 a.m. in the Mulawin Café at 1938 Taft Avenue, Pasay.

Abloza, who was reportedly drunk, suddenly called David "Bakla!" which apparently offended and embarrassed the woman.

David sought police assistance and had Abloza arrested. Nikko Dizon
