Brother stabs brod over water bill

Police are now looking a 39-year-old truck driver who allegedly stabbed dead his younger brother after a heated argument over a water bill inside their house in Fairview, Quezon City Monday.
Victim Gregorio Lerio, 36, of Rose St., Barangay West Fairview, suffered stab wounds in the body and died while receiving medical treatment at the Far Eastern University Hospital. His older brother Merio fled after the killing.
Initial reports showed that the incident occurred at about 1 p.m. inside their house in Rose street in West Fairview.
Merio allegedly berated his younger brother for failing to provide enough money for his share of the bill. A heated altercation ensued and the older Lerio pulled out a bladed weapon.
Without warning, he stabbed Gregorio in the chest. The victim collapsed to the floor.
Neighbors brought Gregorio to the hospital where he died at about 8 p.m. Matthew Estabillo
