A 33-year-old cell card dealer was shot dead the other night after he reportedly went berserk inside a police community precinct in Sampaloc.
Homicide investigators of the Western Police District identified the victim as Benito Magracia, a dealer of Globe cell cards and resident of 1468 J. Fajardo St., Sampaloc.
Initial police investigation showed that shortly before the incident, the victim allegedly showed his sex organ to Conmeguela dela Cruz, 20, of 1929 Firmeza St. and a rice dealer at the Trabajo Market.
Feeling harassed, Conmeguela, investigators said, went to file a complaint at the nearby Ramon Magsaysay Police Community Precinct.
At about 8 p.m., Magracia was invited for questioning regarding the incident. While being questioned, the victim allegedly turned unruly and went wild.
Investigators said the victim was pacified by Police Officer 3 Rodolfo dela Cruz, uncle of Conmeguela. Probers said that while being pacified, a heated argument ensued between the victim and Dela Cruz. Mike Frialde
