Manila to host World Meeting of Families

Alfonso Cardinal Lopez Trujillo, president of the Pontifical Council on the Family, will be coming to formally announce the Fourth World Meeting of Families in Manila on Jan. 23 to 26, 2002.

Trujillo will preside in a Eucharistic Celebration on March 19, 2002, at 6 p.m. at the Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Joseph in Aurora Boulevard, Project 3, Quezon City.

The event also commemorates the Festival of Fathers, the first of the year-long preparation leading to the world meeting.

Meanwhile, Jamie Cardinal Sin has invited all fathers in the Archdiocese of Manila to celebrate the first-ever Festival of Fathers to be held on Sunday, March 17 at the Ateneo High School covered court, Quezon City, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. – Sandy Araneta
