DOT sets up Quick Response Action Desk

Responding to this year's EDSA theme "Isabuhay ang EDSA: Matapat na Pamamahala, Tugon sa Kahirapan," the Department of Tourism announced the setting up of a Quick Response Action Desk on People's Day. Scheduled today, the project is part of the whole day open-house activity of DOT in commemoration of EDSA People Power I and II.
The DOT Quick Response Action Desk will be located at the lobby area of the DOT Bldg. in T.M. Kalaw, Manila and will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. DOT Action Officers will man the desk to accommodate inquiries and concerns related to tourism.
The DOT and its attached agencies, as mandated, are tasked to encourage, promote and develop tourism as a major socio-economic activity with the support of both private and public sectors.
