Beware of a Chinese doctor who had allegedly gained notoriety as a sex maniac for victimizing female patients in his clinic in Sta. Cruz, Manila.
Immigration Commissioner Andrea Domingo, who ordered the arrest of Shie Shao Fung, said the suspect is the subject of a complaint filed with the Manila police for alleged rape of a Chinese girl while under his medical care.
Reports reaching Domingos office disclosed Shie, who practices herbal medicine, used his profession to sexually molest female patients, who chose to keep quiet to avoid embarrassment. But recent victims have come out in the open to put a stop to his "malpractice," the reports said.
His victims were emboldened when the parents of one of his victims filed a formal complaint against him for allegedly raping their daughter while undergoing treatment in his clinic.
A kidnapping case was also filed against the Chinese doctor with the Manila City Prosecutors Office for abducting in July last year the son of Chinese investor Nang Kong Sze.
Domingo said that Shie has violated immigration laws for practicing his profession without the required working visa and permit.
He is detained at the detention center of the Bureau of Immigration in Bicutan. However, he filed a petition for habeas corpus with the Manila regional trial court to force the bureau to release him from detention. Rey Arquiza
