Chinese national faces raps for drug pushing

A Chinese national was slapped with charges of illegal possession of prohibited drugs and drug pushing in the Rizal Provincial Prosecutors Office in Pasig City on Thursday after the seizure of at least P1.4 million worth of shabu in San Juan earlier.
As this developed, San Juan local police chief Superintendent Rodrigo de Gracia said that they will revive the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council to keep tabs on of possible bigtime pushers in the town.
"We would be closely monitoring foreigners to prevent them from doing their illegal business in San Juan," De Gracia said.
At around 3 a.m. joint operatives of Narcotics Group of the Philippine National Police and San Juan police arrested Cherng Yow Chen Ho alias "Cherng," 24, of 402 Amberland Plaza, Jade Drive, Pasig in a buy-bust operation in front of Le Gran Condominium, at 45 Eisenhower St. Greenhills, San Juan.
De Gracia, San Juan police chief said that Cherng onboard a green Toyota Hi-Ace with plate number UUW-517 sold 500 grams of shabu to a Narcotics poseur-buyer which cost P200,000. Immediately after the arrest, authorities questioned the suspect as to where the illegal drugs came from and he mentioned a certain Andy Co, who according to the suspect occupied room 1112 of Le Gran Condominium 45, Eisenhower St. Non Alquitran
