Korean held in buy-bust

Manila City Hall police operatives arrested yesterday a Korean male national and a suspected female supplier of shabu to tourists in separate buy-bust operations in Ermita, Manila.
Superintendent Ernesto Ibay, chief of the Western Police Districts Special Operations Group (SOG), identified the suspects as Lee Chang Ho, 38, single, and Melanie King, 34, of 1323 L. Guerero st., Ermita, Manila. First to be arrested was Lee who subsequently pointed to King as his source of shabu.
Ibay ordered SOG operations head Chief Inspector Antonio Entico to verify reports that foreigners were frequenting Plaza Soliman along Sta. Monica street in Ermita, Manila as venue for nightly pot session.
Recovered from Lees possession were two sachets of shabu, aluminum foil, a disposable lighter and a tooter. Nestor Etolle
