Caloocan cop killer nabbed

A suspected cop killer listed by police as the No. 2 most wanted person in Caloocan City fell into the hands of the authorities in a buy-bust operation last Sunday afternoon.
Enrique Dungao, alias "Ricky Toloy" and "Ricky Ratrat", 42, electrician, a native of Bulacan and residing at 7-C Jacinto Streets, Barangay 5 District 2, Caloocan City was presented to the press by city police chief Superintendent Benjardi Mantele.
Dungao was tagged by police as the alleged killer of the late SPO2 Alberto Lizarondo, then a member of the local drug enforcement unit (DEU).
Dungao, who refused to talk to reporters, has a standing arrest warrant for Lizarondos murder on November 25 last year in the sala of Executive Judge Silvestre Bello Jr. of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 128.
The suspect was arrested by the men of Senior Inspector Jose Valencia, the local DEU chief, at around 2:30 p.m. Sunday along E. Jacinto Street, corner A. Mabini Street in Sangandaan after yielding three sachets of shabu in a buy-bust designed to entrap the suspect.
When frisked, Valencia said the suspect yielded more sachets of shabu. Dungao denied he was into any illegal drug activity. Jerry Botial
