Ordered relieved were SPO3 Dante G. Yang, SPO2 Dante Gimpes; POs3 Lucio Husmalaga and Cleto Montegrejo; POs2 Rommel Bautista and Eduardo Datul, all members of the CPDs Drug Enforcement Unit.
Tor said that the police officers were accused of breaking into the house of businesswoman Magdalena Babina in Novaliches Friday night.
Babina said that the accused introduced themselves as policemen and immediately ransacked her place. She said that she lost some P7,300 in cash after the supposed raid by the police.
The six policemen were charged with grave misconduct and violation of domicile at the Quezon City prosecutors office.
On Friday last week, Tor also relieved four members of the CPDs District Intelligence and Investigation Division for taking the money and valuables of six suspected jueteng personnel.
Charged with robbery were SPO4 Cerilo Libed; SPOs1 Amor Gulang and Rolando Gueta and PO1 Donna Medina.
Tor appealed to the public to immediately report any kind of abuse and misconduct committed by the police.
"To help the police institution cleanse its ranks, the community should be vigilant in reporting abuses of policemen, this way, the feedback mechanism is enhanced, thus promoting public service" Tor said.
Meanwhile, a 52-year-old man was sentenced to life imprisonment for raping a 10-year-old neighbor in his house in Valenzuela City two years ago.
Valenzuela Regional Trial Court Judge Floro Alejo (Branch 172) also ordered accused Reynaldo Lumabas, a tricycle driver of 1286 Rosario Street, Tamaraw Hills, Gen.
