Southern Police District commander Senior Superintendent Jose Gutierrez Jr. said the suspect was arrested at around 1 p.m. last Aug. 4 at Niogan, Masagana in Barangay Sta. Ana, Pateros.
The suspect was identified as Eudardo Abarquez alias Taling, 35, married, a laborer and resident of 19 J. Sanchez, St., Barangay Sta. Ana, Pateros.
Police records said Abarquez was facing three counts of rape before Pasig City courts when he managed to elude arrest and went into hiding. Abarquez is now detained at the Pateros municipal jail pending his turn-over to the Pasig City court where his arrest warrants originated.
In Makati City, District Director Gutierrez reported the arrest of three suspects involved in a rape and stabbing incident of a woman last week. The suspects were identified as Alfredo Vicam, 21, Nelson Mones and Noel Garmo, all of Interior 6, Pasig Line, Sta. Ana, Manila. – Marvin Sy
The victim identified as Marily Saballo, 27, single, a registrar of the A-1 Driving School in Makati Ciy, was raped, stabbed and left for dead by the three suspects inside her office located at the second floor of the Guadalupe Commercial Complex, the police said. – Marvin Sy
