Valenzuela LPG repair plant

Ferrotech Steel Corp.’s affiliate FSC Metal Corp. inaugurated its new liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder repair and requalification plant facilities in Ugong, Valenzuela City.

The plant boasts of an advanced system and technology for the repair and maintenance of LPG cylinders circulating in the market.

This modern facility was put up in response to the government’s call for the proper maintenance of LPG cylinders as required by law following numerous complaints of dilapidated, rusty and substandard LPG cylinders – a problem that is now subject of an unrelenting campaign by all government agencies concerned.

FSC Chief Operating Officer Luis de Jesus announced that the facility would also house Ferrotech’s LPG cylinder Assembly Line 2, Engineering, Product Research and Development Division. FSC’s finishing section will also support the increased production of Ferrotech’s Baesa, Quezon City plant.

The FSC plant is expected to generate new jobs for nearby residents Committed to provide livelihood programs in the community, this company is presently conducting training for skilled workers in the area.
