Cellphone killer falls

An alleged "Agaw Cellfone Gang" member who allegedly stabbed to death a college student over his cellular phone last week was arrested by Pasay City policemen Tuesday night.
Police identified the suspect as Rodolfo Gomez, 23, of Sitio San Juan, Don Carlos Village, Pasay City.
Gomez was tagged as the one who stabbed to death Grenol Osorio, 21, an engineering student, when he snatched the students cellular phone last July 21, at Pasay Rotunda.
Osorio tried to hold on to his phone but Gomez pulled out a knife and repeatedly stabbed him.
Gomez was arrested by policemen after an informant reported seeing Gomez loitering along Taft Avenue, apparently looking for another victim at around 10 p.m. Tuesday. Police said they are readying appropriate charges against Gomez. Rainier Allan Ronda
