Car theft suspect falls

A principal suspect in a string of robbery-holdup and car theft cases in Northern Metro Manila was arrested Saturday night after he and his group broke into the house of a Malabon City policeman whom they reportedly had wanted to kill.
Chief Inspector Napoleon Bataycan, Malabon Station Investigation Branch chief, identified the suspect as Alfredo Palana, 23, married, jobless, of Block 11, Lot 23, Phase 2, Area 2, Dagat-Dagatan, Barangay Longos.
Palanas companion, Danilo Arcilla, alias Badjao, 23, married, jobless, of 1364 Lapu-Lapu Ave., also in Dagat-Dagatan, is now being hunted by the police. Nikko Dizon
