Police investigators said Yu Kim Kuan, 67, Liano Cua, 50, and Steven Cua, 19, were tied up by the robbers while housewife Shu Li Ong-Cua, 43, was left unharmed.

The robbers, said to be armed with handguns and knives, forcibly entered the house located at 88 Ilang-Ilang St., Don Pedro Subdivision, Barangay Marulas, at around 6:30 p.m.

Mrs. Cua told police probers that the suspects, who were in their mid-twenties, cut the telephone lines, hogtied her companions and ransacked the house.

The robbers stayed for about thirty minutes and fled on board a waiting Tamaraw FX van with plate number WRA-409, Mrs. Cua said.
