The loss was reported to the police at around 9:30 p.m. by Venacio Delica, 62, businessman, president of the Mini Council of Paso de Blas Chapel, a resident of 350 Fortune 5 St. in Paso de Blas.
Delica told police that he discovered the crime at around 8 p.m. The chapel’s steel door had been forcibly opened, he said. Delica said he discovered that the Roto amplifier, two speakers, a karaoke, three microphones, and an overhead projector used during services, were missing.
Scene of the Crime Operatives lifted fingerprints possibly left by the suspects.
Meanwhile, 10 armed men robbed a passenger bus Wednesday night in Malabon, divesting their victims of cash and valuables, police said.
One of the suspects, Carlo Ortega, 27 jobless, of Samlet Compound, Tugatog, was arrested by police in a follow-up operation yesterday at around 5:30 a.m., authorities said.
PO2 George Gubatan said the RODCAR aircon bus (TVR921) was traversing Letre Road, when the robbers announced the holdup at around 8:30 p.m.
The suspects drew hand grenades, guns and fan knives and ordered the passengers to turn over their cash, jewelry, and cellular phones. The robbers got off on Samlet Road and fled.
