Man killed in Quiapo

A shooting incident in Quiapo, Manila Monday night claimed the life of an innocent man, but the police have yet to arrest the perpetrator.

Police identified the victim as Rommel Arruejo, 21, of 735 Porvenir st., Quiapo, who was shot in the head at10 p.m. while washing dishes outside his residence .

Witnesses said the suspect levelled his gun at the unsuspecting victim and fired. The gunman then boarded a waiting motorcycle and sped off towards Quezon Boulevard.

Arruejo was rushed by his brother to the Philippine General Hospital where he expired while undergoing treatment. – Nestor Etolle
