The agreement will be forged during the Creba monthly business meeting in Makati City. Pamintuan will also speak on NHAs latest thrusts in housing development for the poor and the underprivileged sector.
Creba has been advocating the adoption of a comprehensive home financing system to produce some 500,000 socialized housing units to cope with the 3.5 million housing shortage in the country. The chamber has been discussing the features of its package of housing program reforms with housing czar Michael Defensor.
Gorayeb said Creba will call on its members to join NHAs socialized housing projects on joint venture arrangements, particularly in areas outside Metro Manila.
Creba is holding its Cup Golf Tournament tomorrow with tee-off at 7 to 9 a.m. The proceeds are to be donated to the Reception and Study Center (Nayon ng Kabataan) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, which is caring for abandoned, abused and neglected children.
