In a press statement, the group said the "event will celebrate Filipino greatness without any political or religious color or ideology and seeks to uphold what is true, positive and beautiful about the Filipino race which has been prophesied as the Chosen Race (Lahing Pinili) and the Philippines as the Chosen Land of the New Jerusalem (Lupang Hinirang ng Bagong Herusalem)."
"Tindig Inang Maharlika. . ." upholds the four pillars of Filipino spirituality, namely: Being Makadios or Godliness, Makabayan or Patriotism, Makatao or love of one’s fellowmen, and Makakalikasan or love and respect for nature. Observance of these tenets becomes the foundation of a spiritual life.
The event also raises the issues of the Great Rizal’s teachings in these times of our national crises; the Filipinos acknowledgment of our great past and heritage to move forward and bring our nation to its pre-eminent destiny; the Maharlikan destiny of our nation that will be great again.
The three-day celebration features Dugtungan ng mga Awit, Pagsasaysay at Paghahayag, Mga Himig at Sayaw ng Lemuria, the Mabuhay ng Dahil sa Iyo Manifesto towards a more positive Lupang Hinirang, and Tinig ng Kapangyarihan.
The "Tindig Inang Maharlika..." event features day-long activities on June 17 and 18 at the National Historical Institute side of the Luneta. On June 19, and after the government ceremonies at the Rizal Monument, prominent Rizalistas, patriots, national leaders, and national artists are invited to speak on the 21st Century nationhood.
