A pretty 27-year-old guest relations officer (GRO) is now fighting for her life in a Pasay City hospital after being severely beaten up and repeatedly stabbed by her former live-in partner over the weekend.
The victim, who is undergoing intensive treatment at the Pasay City General Hospital, was identified as Dolores Sierra, single, a resident of 2300 Tramo St., Pasay City.
Aside from bruises all over her face and body, she also sustained five stab wounds in her upper body.
Police are now hunting the suspect who was identified as Alexis Acopio, 24, single, of 69 Area-D, Chest Clinic, Pasay City.
Investigation conducted by Senior Police Officer 3 Chris Gabutin showed that the incident occurred at around 5 a.m. Sunday in the victim’s house.
It was learned that Acopio went to see Sierra to forge a reconciliation and convince her to take him back, the two having been lovers.
However, Sierra reportedly rejected Acopio’s reconciliation bid since she was fed up by the former love’s joblessness and alleged drug habit.
Believed to be high on drugs, Acopio suddenly started throwing punches and kicks at Sierra, then stabbed her five times, before scampering out of the house and escaped. – Rainier Allan Ronda
