Edsa Shrine school

Manila Archbishop Jaime Cardinal Sin led the blessing of the EDSA Shrine School for Street Children in Sta. Lucia, Pasig last Tuesday.
The blessing of the Makabata School located at Armei VI Subdivision, was witnessed by the Spanish Ambassador to the Philippines.
The school building was earlier repaired and equipped through financial assistance rendered by Agencia Española de Cooperacion Internacional.
The school will accommodate 104 street children this coming school year, all scholars of the Bread of Life Ministry, a group of volunteers at the EDSA Shrine.
Most students are children of street vendors living in Tramo and Rosario, Pasig City. Sandy Araneta
