Senior Inspector Danny Menor of the Parañaque police community precinct 3 identified the victim as Christopher Bautista, a trainee-employee of Centennial Plastic Corp., of 53 A.M. Tanyag St., Zone 6, Signal Village, Taguig.
Bautista died at around 11:50 a.m. on the railroad tracks of the Philippine National Railways intersecting Gen. Santos Avenue near the Bicutan interchange in this city.
Before the incident, witnesses said Bautista asked a resident for the trains expected arrival. Bautista, who looked quiet and had a faraway look in his eyes, reportedly even had breakfast at a nearby canteen while waiting for the train.
On the approach of train no. 153, residents said, they were shocked when Bautista, who was standing beside the tracks, suddenly dived under the train.
When the train had gone, Bautistas decapitated and dismembered body lay scattered along the tracks.
Police Officer 1 Alberto Abad, case investigator, said they are still at a loss as to the reason for Bautistas suicide and are conducting further investigation. Rainier Allan Ronda
