A family of three, including an 11-year-old boy, suffered serious injuries when they were attacked by a neighbor with a knife while they were sleeping inside their house Monday night in Las Piñas City.
Senior Police Officer 3 George Gabriel, officer-on-case, identified the victims as Dante Burgos, his wife Liza, and son Ramco, all residents of Villa Coastal, Barangay Fajardo, Las Piñas.
Police are now hunting down the suspect who was identified as Rodolfo "Boy" Salazar. Investigation showed the incident took place shortly after midnight Monday when Salazar sneaked inside the Burgos residence and attacked the three victims with a kitchen knife.
Neighbors said they heard screams from inside the house and saw Salazar fleeing.
Probers learned that Salazars 10-year-old son had a fight with Ramco earlier. The fight later involved their fathers who were seen engaged in a heated argument hours before the incident. Rainier Allan Ronda
