Agents of the National Bureau of Investigation are tracking down the suspected brains behind the 250-kilo shabu haul seized in a condominium unit in Pasay City Tuesday afternoon.
NBI officer-in-charge Carlos Caabay named the suspect as a certain Sandra Lim, who uses the aliases Sandra Cam and Sandra de Villa.
According to agents of the NBI Special Task Force who conducted the raid, Lim is the registered tenant of unit 706 of Somerset Mansion Towers along Leveriza street. NBI agents are still checking if Lim is a member of the 14-K drug syndicate.
NBI-STF agents seized the illegal drugs worth at least P500 million inside the condominium unit stashed inside large suitcases and plastic bags. Also found were assault rifles, handguns, ammunition and bullet-proof vests.
Geron delos Santos, a dismissed janitor of the unit, was arrested. He told NBI agents that he was assigned by Innex Services Inc., a janitorial firm, to the unit. He added he was then hired by Lim to oversee her unit. Mike Frialde
