Operatives of the Caloocan City police are conducting a manhunt for a son of Rep. Luis "Baby" Asistio after he shot a drunken man for allegedly urinating in front of their house Tuesday night.
Charges of attempted homicide are being readied against Luisito "Pachot" Asistio, 35, a resident of 14 Dagohoy St., Caloocan City.
The victim, Danilo Cuevas, 52, suffered a gunshot wound in his leg and was taken to the Ospital ng Caloocan for medical treatment.
PO2 Christopher Onella, officer-on-case, said the incident occurred at about 6 p.m. when Asistio reportedly caught Cuevas, who was drunk, urinating on the wall of their residence. Asistio confronted the victim and an argument ensued.
Onella said Asistio pulled out a .380 caliber pistol, and fired a warning shot in the air. But instead of running for cover, Cuevas picked up a lead pipe and smashed a portion of Asistios porch. Matthew Estabillo
