2 men rob Parañaque beauty parlor

Some P500,000 in cash and jewelry were carted away by two armed men who robbed customers of a beauty parlor owned by a police official’s wife in Parañaque City last Sunday.

Police Officer 3 Valerio Buena, investigator-on-case, said two unidentified robbers barged into the Ningya Salon at Stall-C, Trinity Building located on President’s Avenue in BF Homes, Parañaque, owned by Dinah Raval, 54, wife of Senior Superintendent Vicente Raval, chief of the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Traffic Management Group, at around 1:45 p.m.

The robbers, at gunpoint, ordered everyone inside, including Dinah, her children Dino, 18, and Vicente Jr., 22, customers Maita Avila, 32; Rocina Cinco, 28; Evelyn dela Cruz, 38; Ninevette Takida, 28; and cashier Maryjane Parcinilla, 26; to hand over all their cash and valuables.

After getting their loot, the robbers herded all of them into the comfort room and locked the door.

After several minutes of waiting to make sure that the robbers were gone, they forced open the door. Raval immediately reported the incident to the police who are still investigating the case. Rainier Allan Ronda
